Updated: Dec 9, 2023

We are delighted to be able to further add to our prizes for our Christmas and New Year draw 23/24. We would like to pass our thanks onto the Royal Engineers Museum, based in Gillingham, for donating an annual family pass. This will allow two adults and two children access to the museum for one year.

Further details on the Royal Engineers Museum can be viewed at https://www.re-museum.co.uk.

Tickets for the GFCSC Christmas and New Year draw, along with a full list of current prizes, can be found online here - They cost £5 for a book of 10.

The Royal Engineers Museum (REM) Collection has been developed by the Corps of Royal Engineers over the last two hundred years and now forms one of the most important military collections in the UK.

Visit Kent’s largest military museum to discover the story of the Royal Engineers and how they have helped the British Army live, move and fight for over 300 years.

With highlights including 25 Victoria Crosses, Wellington’s map of Waterloo, Chard’s weapons from the Zulu War, an amazing collection of bridge laying tanks, Chinese silks, the world’s first guided torpedo, Indian battle axes, a huge piece of the Berlin Wall, Zulu shields, a Harrier Jump Jet and an deadly V2 rocket, it is no surprise that the Museum’s collection has been designated as being of historical and international importance.

Special events, including family events, are run throughout the year.
