We are delighted to welcome Stephen Clemence to Priestfield as our new First-Team Head Coach. He will be assisted by Robbie Stockdale, who has extensive knowledge in the EFL having coached at Grimsby Town and Sunderland.
Clemence, 45, the son of former England goalkeeper Ray Clemence, arrives at Priestfield having coached at a number of clubs, many of which in the Premier League.
He has worked closely with Steve Bruce at Sunderland, Hull City, Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion and won promotion to the Premier League while with Hull as Assistant Head Coach in 2016.
We look forward to seeing Stephen's Gillingham team in action against Hereford on Saturday in the FA Cup.
