We were pleased to participate in the creation and launch of the "Gills Supporters' Stories" film. This film, developed by Oral History Medway and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, explores the experiences of Gillingham supporters and what supporting the Gills means to them.
The launch event was held at Priestfield Stadium and was attended by Brigadier Andrew Wood DL and Councillor Trevor Clarke, Mayor of Medway. We extend our gratitude to Councillor Nina Gurung, as well as Imogen Robertson and Emma Newman from Medway Council, for their support.
Thanks also go to Robert Flood and Dr. Chris de Coulon Berthoud from Oral History Medway for their work in producing the film, as well as to Gary Weston for his filming and editing.
GFCSC committee members David Garth and Stefan Bennett were also present at the launch. We appreciate all the Gills fans who contributed their unique stories.

The supporters story film was amazing. However, I don’t usually play the woke card but where were the women?! I don’t remember a call out for this as I would have loved to have shared my memories.
A running theme throughout the film was sons starting their Gills journey with their dads. Mine started with my mum who’s since died. I would have loved to share this. Apologies if you didn’t d put a call out and I missed it.
