Be Part of Gillingham’s Story – The Gillingham FC Museum
Gillingham FC Supporters' Club is proud to announce plans for a brand-new Gillingham FC Museum, set to open at Priestfield Stadium in 2027.
The museum will celebrate the club’s proud history, from its early days as New Brompton FC to unforgettable nights under the lights at Priestfield, and the people, players and supporters who’ve shaped the Gills over generations.
Thanks to the support of club owners Brad and Shannon Galinson and Managing Director Joe Comper, the former Club Shop on Redfern Avenue is being made available as the home for this exciting new space - a place where Gills history can finally be shared, preserved and celebrated.
But we can’t do it without you.
We’re inviting supporters, sponsors and volunteers to help make the museum a reality:
Fans: We’re looking for memorabilia - shirts, scarves, match tickets, photos, programmes or souvenirs that help tell the story of our club, especially from the early years.
Volunteers and professionals: If you have skills in design, construction, archiving, display, or heritage work, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in learning about museum curation and stewarding, we can provide training and support.
Donors: You can also support Stage One of the Gillingham FC Museum Fundraiser by making a financial contribution through our website at www.gfcsc.co.uk/donate
And as we head into the Christmas period, when you’re getting your decorations down, why not have a look in your loft - you never know what treasures you might find that could become part of the museum collection!
Together, we can build something lasting. A space that honours the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the next generation of Gills supporters.
Be part of our story.
