The Football Supporters’ Association are asking supporters, from all clubs, to complete a survey regarding your experience at using iFollow. Some fans find the service very good, while others have had a totally different experience!
Streaming games has become a new way of life for fans in the EFL following the decision to start the season behind-closed-doors, but how are the streaming platforms coping with the new influx of users?
The FSA are asking fans of EFL clubs to tell them about your experiences in a new survey, the results of which will be fed back to the EFL.
Previously the iFollow platform was mostly the preserve of overseas fans and those who perhaps were unable to travel long distances to away fixtures, but the reality of this season without fans in grounds now means tens of thousands are accessing their games online every week.
Fans’ experiences have varied with the system, which is why we are collecting the single biggest independent dataset of supporter feedback. It will cover everything from how fans rate different aspects of their experience, to which devices they are using, how they’re paying for the services, and identifying any problems they have had.
Not all of the EFL’s 72 clubs use iFollow, and we are also collating fans’ experiences of their clubs’ own streaming platforms within the survey.
The survey, which will be online until the end of this week, is at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/efl-streaming
