We were delighted to present a signed shirt to Ash Gardiner prior to Gillingham's 3-0 victory over Barrow.
In December, we asked Gills supporters to nominate a fan who had a difficult year and battled against the odds. We received lots of very worthy nominations with Nigel Gray and Trevor Mills previously receiving shirts. Details can be viewed here.
We have now had the pleasure to present a sighed shirt to Ash Gardiner.
Ash Gardiner
Ash was nominated for signed, match worn Jayden Clarke shirt by Robert Long. Robert told us: "I would like to nominate Ash Gardiner. He lost his brother in law/ best mate to suicide and the family have had to deal with that. Him and his son are huge Gillingham fans. We lost our dad to the same and I know how tough it has been for them all.”
